CALL TO ORDER:
Larry Peterson called the
meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. All were
present except for Jerry Ryan, Frank Winter, and Bob Naftzger who were excused.

REVIEW MEETING MINUTES DATED
April 14th, 2004:
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Tabled to individual
meetings.
OLD BUSINESS:
A) Review of Orientation Booklet: Discussion was held on the form and format of the
orientation booklet project of Ms. Hackman.
Comments were voiced as to lay out and design, and the Board requested
Ms. Hackman to finalize the draft and retain hard costs as to printing and
advertising revenue, and report back @ next joint meeting.
B) Shared Water Truck Purchase: Discussion
was held on the purchase of a new water truck.
Consensus was Water & Sewer will purchase the truck and related
water equipment, and Road & Recreation will fund the snow removal
equipment. The Road and Recreation
Association would then lease the truck from the Water and Sewer Association at
a monthly or usage rate. The manager
was directed to secure a firm bid for purchase.
NEW BUSINESS:
A) Ralph Goble moved that following the 2004 annual
elections of Board Directors an employee of G.V.M. Water & Sewer
Association and/or G.V.M. Road & Recreation Association can
not
serve as a director of either Board.
Any current employee elected at the 2004 Board of Directors election
shall retain their position.
Unanimous-motion passed.
Ralph
Goble moved that no members of the same family shall serve on the same Board as
Directors. Current Board members shall
fulfill their elected terms. Unanimous-motion passed.
The Boards adjourned into
executive session @ estimated 8:26 p.m. to discuss personnel issues.
Regular session re-convened @
estimated 9:00 p.m.
Gene
Watt moved to write off to bad debt $1,423.54 for the Water & Sewer
Association, the result of clerical error in reporting to a title company
during property transfer.
Unanimous-motion passed.
Tom
Hackman moved to write off to bad debt $430.00 for the Road & Recreation
Association, the result of clerical error in reporting to a title company
during property transfer.
Unanimous-motion passed.
